Creekside Inn in Goleta will be hosting local band The Snobs Friday, February 16. Carpinteria’s Strangebird will be opening around 9 p.m. The Snobs feature Chris Tallman, Scott Freshman, Blair Harper, and CJ Covarrubias, who after meeting in a bathroom in San Francisco in 2003 and decided to create music that they hope will separate them from ordinary mudslide of common humanity. The Snobs declare Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Neil Young and adorable little puppies as their influences, and claim “We already have an opinion, we don’t need yours.” But come out this Friday to Creekside and give it to them anyway.
