Yahoo!Representative Lois Capps announced her endorsement of Doreen Farr's candidacy for the 3rd District supervisor’s seat on 12/11. “I am honored to have the support of Congresswoman Capps,” Farr said. “Together, we will work to ensure public health and safety, protect the environment, and balance the needs of open space, transportation, and housing."

Lois Capps is one of the best public servants we have. She totally exemplifies the Santa Barbara spirit. She and her family have deep deep roots here and we are very fortunate to have her representing us and the American people in Congress. Her endorsement of Doreen Farr comes as no surprise in that Doreen Farr is also an individual that is dedicated to making Santa Barbara a better place for all of us, not just for a few wealthy backers. Anyone who cares about social justice, the environment and a sound fiscal policy should go to her website and support her bid for 3rd District supervisor.
