Actress Tia Carrere Sings at State Street Borders

Wayne's World Star to Perform Hawaiian Classics

Probably known best as the hottie from Wayne’s World, actress Tia Carrere is bringing her musical talents to the people of Santa Barbara when she performs at Borders Books Sunday, Aug 19 at 2 p.m.

Honolulu native Carrere, 40, has teamed up with two-time Grammy winner Daniel Ho to create her album, Hawaiiana, a collection of classic Hawaiian songs. Ho won two Best Hawaiian Music Album awards at the Grammys for his Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar, Volume One and Legends of Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar- Live in Miami LPs.

Carrere is also well known for her television show Relic Hunter, her stint on Dancing With the Stars as well as roles in such movies as High School High and Kull the Conqueror. She will be starring in stars in a movie titled Dark Honeymoon alongside Eric Roberts and Roy Schneider.
