Season number 19 is about to begin for Sings Like Hell, so save
money, get your season tickets now, and prepare for yet another six
months of serious singing from songwriters who should all be
famous. One such rocker who is famous, however, will grace the
Lobero stage on May 12. That would be Richard Thompson, who’ll
present 1,000 Years of Popular Music, which is his
interpretation of the history of music. Otherwise, expect Sonya
Kitchell and the Cynical Girls on April 22; Kris Delmhorst/Shannon
McNally Band on May 20; The Greencards and Caroline Herring on June
10; Richmond Fontaine and Hamell On Trial on July 8; Chip Taylor,
Carrie Rodriguez, and Michael McDermott on August 19; and Teddy
Thompson Band and Etienne de Rocher on September 9. See singslikehell.com.
