Description: Wednesdays, 12-1 pm, with Heather Mercer.

In these interactive classes, parents and babies learn delightful rhymes, lullabies, floor and lap games, action songs and dances that stimulate your baby's natural response to music. Parents gather information each week on infant musical development and learn activities to share in class and use at home. Benefits of the class include increase in bonding with your baby and development of listening and motor skills. Musical activities also enhance language development and sense of balance and timing.

Musical instruments are used for many of the activities that we do each week. I encourage all families to invest in a musical kit that can be found here:

As a former employee of Music Rhapsody, they have offered me a 10% discount that I am happy to pass on to my students. Kits with a DVD are $45.50 including tax and discount and $35.25 without a DVD, including tax and discount. Notes on songs, rhymes and games are included in the Music Kit. At-home participation with your kit is the key to the full benefits of the program.
