The University of California, Santa Barbara Associated Students Program Board will be hosting a show featuring of Montreal with Wild Moccasins opening in the UCSB Hub on January 24th, 2014. Doors will be open at 8:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 pm and will be open to all ages.

of Montreal is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia, founded in 1996 by Kevin Barnes. of Montreal's musical style has evolved from vaudeville and Beatles-influenced psychedelic twee pop to a mixture of electronica, funk, glam, and afrobeat music influenced by Prince and David Bowie. Over the course of their career they have released a multitude of albums including Cherry Peel, The Gay Parade, Satanic Panic in the Attic, Paralytic Stalks, and The Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy.

Wild Moccasins is a five-member band composed of Zahira Gutierrez, Cody Swann, Nicholas Cody, Andrew Lee, and John Baldwin. In the past they released the Skin Collison Past album, and are looking to release their newest album 88 92 on February 2nd. of Montreal and Wild Moccasins are touring the country together and are making stops in Nashville, Tenessee, Riverside, and Long Beach, California.

This event is open to the general public with ticket sales for students beginning at $13 presale, $15 for general admission presale, and $17 at the door.
