Politics, Sex & Cocktails is the premier annual fundraising event for Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Santa Barbara, Ventura & San Luis Obispo Counties, Inc.

This year's event--expected to sell out--will feature a conversation between Stephanie Cutter and Bill Burton. Supervisor Janet Wolf will receive the prestigious Giraffe Award for sticking her neck out for Choice.

About the speakers:
Called one of the most prominent voices in politics, Stephanie Cutter’s political and communications experience spans two decades in public service and the private sector. As Deputy Campaign Manager for President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign, Stephanie oversaw communications, media, policy, and research, and was a member of the senior strategy team. She will serve as co-host of CNN’s relaunch of “Crossfire” this fall.

Bill Burton is a senior strategist with Priorities USA Action and Priorities USA, political organizations focused on advancing policies and candidates that provide the strongest and most sound outcomes for middle class families. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Press Secretary at the White House under President Barack Obama.

Former Action Fund Board Chair, Second District Santa Barbara County Supervisor Janet Wolf will receive the coveted Giraffe Award at this year’s Politics, Sex & Cocktails. As the mother of three daughters, Janet is a longtime women’s rights advocate, an outspoken supporter of Planned Parenthood, and of reproductive health and Choice.
