Tour of Coal Oil Point Reserve

Come and enjoy a free docent led tour of UCSB's Coal Oil Point Reserve.

When: Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, 10 a.m.

Where: Coal Oil Point Reserve, Devereux area, UCSB West Campus, Santa Barbara

Description:

Two hour tours will focus on the natural and cultural history of the reserve. The tour offers great birding opportunities, including a chance to see the endangered Western Snowy Plover. To participate, meet at the entrance to Coal Oil Point Reserve ( where slough road ends at a locked gate) at 9:45AM. Docents will let you into the gate.
