Haunt S.B. is a collective of enthusiastic artists attempting to bring some Halloween magic to Santa Barbara. It was founded by dedicated haunter Matt Dorado, whose passion for Halloween, themed entertainment, and all things horror propelled him to start creating attractions from scratch—first in his friend’s basement, then on his college campus.

Last year, Matt worked under Santa Barbara's LGBT Organization, Pacific Pride Foundation, to bring a haunted attraction to life in an offbeat theater downtown. Because of its positive reception and success, Matt decided another installment was in order. He founded Haunt S.B. in an effort to bring exciting Halloween entertainment to the city this year.

This year, the team is made up of Matt and four additional creative minds: Susan Shane, a self-taught makeup artist and this year’s Production Coordinator; Corinne Chubb, daughter of a costume designer, who is the Art Director this year; Josh Zawiski, a haunter from Ohio who has considerable experience in construction, set decoration, and acting; and Joseph Souza, an audio/visual and technical wizard who will be supplying the attraction with specialized lighting and sound effects
