Tour of Coal Oil Point Reserve

Come and enjoy a free, docent led tour of Coal Oil Point Reserve. The tour will focus on the cultural and natural history of the reserve.

Come and enjoy a free, docent led tour of Coal Oil Point Reserve. The tour will focus on the cultural and natural history of the reserve. This is an exellent opporitunity to explore the coastal sage scrub ecosystem and to see a variety of shorebirds, including the endangered western snowy plover. To participate, meet at the reserve gate at 9:45 AM (take slough road towards the ocean and you will reach the gate). For more information, email copr.conservation@lifesci.ucsb.edu.
