Description:
This film depicts the Christ-like therapy of a mysterious visitor to a psychiatric hospital in Buenes Aires. Filled with compassion, this visitor (Rantes) uses his psychokinetic gift for the benefits of the poor and the hungry. His hours of standing motionless, facing southeast and his claims of receiving "transmissions from his planet" puzzles the doctor in charge of the facility. The interactions between the visitor and the doctor provide an education in human potential and moral action. Part science fiction and part inspirational, the film challenges the viewer to rethink his social values and redefine leadership in moral terms. The film was made in Argentina in 1986. Hugo Soto and Lorenzo Quinteros play the leading roles.
