The acclaimed New York Baroque Dance Company will hold an open workshop on elements of baroque dance and perform period theatrical dances.

The New York Baroque Dance Co. will teach elements of baroque dance followed by a demonstration of period theatrical dances. Contemporary choreography influenced by the Baroque will also be presented by American Dance and Music.
Learn the primary steps of baroque dance from The New York Baroque Dance Co. in an evening of instruction and lecture with artistic director Catherine Turocy. Following the class, members of the company and a guest dancer from Paris will perform theatrical dances of the period. Members of American Dance and Music will also demonstrate their own contemporary choreography influenced by the Baroque.
