The Blessing of the Waters
St. Athanasius Orthodox Christian Church invites the community to participate in this ancient Christian Ceremony practiced throughout the world.

Description:
The ultimate Green Celebration! God is asked to bless the waters, sanctifying them and thus representing the redemption of all creation. The Holy Cross is then thrown into the ocean and any who wish to brave the chilly water, try to be the first to retrieve it.
