Town Talk at Ojai Valley Museum: Beatrice Wood: The Art of a Life

Kevin Wallace, Director of the Beatrice Center for the Arts and Happy Valley Cultural Center will present his PowerPoint entitled "Beatrice Wood: The Art of a Life" on Sunday afternoon February 24, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., in the main gallery of the Ojai Valley Museum. These enrichment programs relate directly to the current Valerie Freeman installation at the museum entitled “Beatrice Wood, Duchamp and Chess.”
The Wallace Town Talk will enhance the Freeman installation with an historical perspective on Beatrice Wood, revealing through photographs and storytelling the richness of her life as an important American artist, Master Ceramicist, Dada artist, Ojai resident, and renowned figure in the art world.

The museum is located at 130 W. Ojai Avenue, Ojai, CA. Admission: free for current 2012 members, adults - $4.00, children 6–18 - $1.00 and children 5 and under – free. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m; Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Tours are available by appointment. Free parking is available off Blanche Street at back of museum.
