The Gray Whales of Baja
Notable poet Wendy Wilder Larsen will read from her latest book, a collection of poems inspired by the gentle giants of the San Ignacio Lagoon.

Description:
Boston-born poet Wendy Wilder Larsen moved to California at an early age, and has spent her life traveling the world writing poems and teaching. She lives in New York City, but spends a large amount of time in Santa Barbara, where she watches the gray whales on their migration through the channel. Her new book features paintings by Josie Merck, a fellow NYC resident who serves on the board of the Natural Resources Defense Council and participates in a multitude of other environmental efforts.
The reading will be accompanied by wine and other goodies. Reading begins at 4:30.
