Filmmaker Aaron Lieber tells the inspiring story of professional surfer Lakey Peterson as he follows her around the globe in her rookie year on the ASP World Tour. It is about pushing boundaries, changing lives and making dreams come true. Discovered at age 14 after completing the first female areal in professional competition, Lakey shines a bright light on where the female surf industry is heading. With never before seen interviews and footage from Lakey’s early life right through to her 2012 win at the US Open, we are given an intimate window into her heart and soul and what drives Lakey to win on the waves and off. Dramatic footage from some of the best surf spots on the planet make this beautifully shot film unmissable. From Lakey’s surfing to her philanthropic work, Zero to 100 is an inspiring true story for people of all ages that will have you laughing, crying and doing push ups by the end.
The evening will include live music from the film soundtrack followed by a screening of Zero to 100.
