After a very successful Hautebox I & Hautebox II DNA Imagery is proud to invite you to Hautebox III coming August 17th, 2013 in benefit of local non-profit Youth Interactive. Hautebox has grown larger than our studio doors can handle and thus we have moved it to a private estate in the hills of Montecito. It will surely be a night you don't want to miss as the worlds of couture fashion and art combine to create a sultry mix of indulgence that only Santa Barbara can claim fame for. The show will highlight this summer season's decadent and luxurious styles with a bohemian chic edge.
We are inviting all movers and shakers of the fashion industry in the Santa Barbara area and beyond from photographers, models, stylists, make up artists, and of course fashion lovers to come together for a night of glamor, entertainment and networking opportunity.

Doors will open at 6pm. Enjoy a gorgeous outdoor pool setting for the fashion show that will begin at 7.15pm just before the sun will set. The show will feature pieces from established LA & NYC based designer Lotta Stensson's ( summer collection paired with the extravagant & unique jewelry from Montecito's Ciao Bella in addition to Brazilian bikinis from Coral Biquinis & Liquido. RadHasLove will top off the show with her one-of-a-kind headdresses. Walter Claudio Salon Spa is proud to be the official hair salon for the show.

There will be a multitude of entertainment throughout the night as a mix of djs, live music and special guests will all come together. Local band Freakin' On Speakers will be performing live. In the past 2 years the band has gained publicity as one of the most popular bands in town and can claim to be a finalist of The Independent's Battle Of The Bands of 2012. Eclectic indie summer house music will be provided by Gotta Dance Dirty's "aRod".
Professional photo studio lighting will be setup by DNA, for everyone to experience life as a model for the night.

The event is being held in benefit of Youth Interactive non-profit & to help aid them in continued success of their mission of empowering youth with the spirit of entrepreneurship. DNA has worked closely with Youth Interactive for over 7 months & offers mentorship and guidance to young aspiring entrepreneurs at their location in the Funk Zone weekly.
You can read more about Youth Interactive & their efforts to help youth in Santa Barbara here: A portion of all proceeds from this event will be going directly to Youth Interactive. Those models need to gain some weight. They are VERY unattractive.

Not cool to say people are unattractive due to their size, either overweight or what you perceive to be underweight.

In any other case I would back Native1's comment but I back The Reptilian One because the bigger picture here is that we are being sold the idea that the look these models are selling (in other words, typical fashion-industry salesmanship) is what we should find attractive.

I have seen women that are young, old, skinny and obese, that I've found attractive. What is NOT attractive is that cold, mannequin-like look where any natural features a woman has is obliterated in an overdose of makeup and artificial hair coloring. To me, it has the same effect as bodybuilders with huge steroid-fueled muscles has on the women I've spoken to, and like that it's freaky, unhealthy, and not natural.

That fashionista look is not attractive, and not inviting, in fact it's just silly-looking.
