Bruegala Buellton

Oktoberfest tradition highlighting only German and German-style beers, traditional food, and music, and featuring an inaugural Pro-Am Competition presented by Valley Brewers and Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company.

Bruegala Buellton will include the inaugural Pro-Am, which is one of only a few in the state of California, and considered a pinnacle competition for Home Brewers. The competition consists of a Best of Show entry with the grand prize winner brewing their winning recipe at Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company with Master Brewer, AJ Stoll; there will be additional prizes for second and third place. “Figueroa Mountain Brewing is excited to work with Valley Brewers to help foster excellence in the brewing industry,” explains AJ Stoll of Figueroa Mountain Brewing, “There are a lot of talented amateur brewers with some great recipes and we look forward to tasting what they come up with.” Valley Brewers of Solvang, Co-Presenter of the Pro-Am, “Chris and I are really excited to be part of this competition with Figueroa Mountain Brewing, we feel this is a great way to be able to showcase your homebrew, plus have the opportunity to work with Master Brewer AJ Stoll. It would be a thrill for these talented home brewers to be able to drink your beer on tap at Fig!” Entrants are encouraged to contact Valley Brewers, and Figueroa Mountain Brewing for entry forms and more information.

Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. will be providing optional shuttles at locations in Solvang and Buellton to safely transport Bruegala attendees to Riverview Park, and then onto an after-party at Figueroa Mountain Brewing slated for 6-10pm and will include music and food. Attendees may also drive directly to the event.

Tickets are available online at www.bruegalabuellton.com. Tickets are on sale for $25 advance purchase and $35 at the door, and include a commemorative stein, lunch, live music, and 6 beer tickets. Additional food and beer tickets will be available for purchase. Organizers hope to make Bruegala an annual Oktoberfest tradition, highlighting only German and German style beers, traditional food, and music.
