The color photographs presented in this exhibition reflect upon the beautiful landscape that is found within the Santa Ynez Valley. Most of the images were taken during the peak of seasonal change from fall into winter, and winter into spring; when sunlight strikes at unique low angles, illuinating the landscape and enriching its colors. If there is a mission to these photographs, it would be to elicit a memory, or thought, that one might have felt while passing by these familiar views during the fleeting moments of seasonal change while driving, riding, or hiking through this amazing valley, where the light truly turns golden.
