Artist Brent Green performs live, narrating the presentation of a stop-motion animated film. Touching on themes of love, death, salvation, and the underworld, Green’s darkly humorous short films form a backdrop that is both autobiographical and rich. Known for working with musicians such as Wilco and Fugazi, Green taps guest musicians Tim Rutili (Califone) and Mike McGinley (Bitter Tears, Califone) to play his Americana-style, musical composition in tandem with the performance.

Based in Cressona, PA, composer, filmmaker, and performance artist Brent Green’s work has been featured at film festivals including Sundance, Park City, UT; BAM Next Wave, Brooklyn, NY; and the Rotterdam International, Netherlands. He has performed at the J. Paul Getty Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA and The Kitchen, New York, NY. Recent solo exhibitions include SITE Santa Fe, NM; Sculpture Center, Cleveland, OH; and Bellwether Gallery, New York, NY.
