Organic Soup Kitchen Community Thanksgiving Dinner

The S.B. Organic Soup Kitchen hosts its fourth annual community dinner for homeless men, women, and children, low-income families, and more.

The Santa Barbara Organic Soup Kitchen (OSK) will host its fourth annual Community Dinner for Thanksgiving at the Veteran's Memorial Building from 1:00pm to 5pm. Last year, with the help of more than 800 dedicated volunteers, OSK, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organized, fed, and cared for more than 1,000 guests, including homeless men, women and children, low-income families and countless other members of our community. This year they will again serve “House Bound Seniors” through the Santa Barbara Housing Authority. Santa Barbara Organic Soup Kitchen with the support of local growers, Santa Barbara's Farmer's Markets, Lazy Acres, Whole Foods, Simply Pies, Peet's Coffee-will provide a nourishing Thanksgiving menu consisting of Turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes as well as vegetarian options and, of course, our famous organic soup. Guests can also enjoy live music and entertainment and fun activities in the Veteran's Memorial Building courtyard.
