It’s Not As Far/Funny As You Think. presents more than 50 paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, installations, and other multi-media works, individually curated by department faculty from this year’s breadth of student work. As always, the undergraduate exhibition highlights only the very best work from throughout the year, representing the talent, skill, hard work, and dedication of our students. This year, artworks will be displayed at various venues, including Building 479 Old Gym Gallery, Arts 434 rooms 121&122, and the newly redesigned Atrium sculpture facilities (Arts 600 behind the Art, Architecture, and Design Museum).
The show opens on Monday, June 11 and the closing reception will be held on Saturday, June 16 from 3:30-6pm in the Arts 434 Courtyard, following the commencement ceremony for this year’s graduating BA and MFA students. Join UCSB on Saturday for a celebration with music and food, and throughout the week in celebrating not just the graduating students but another year of excellent work.
