Looking forward to it! The last chance in our lifetime... The next transit of Venus won't occur until December 2117.

Here are times of interest during the transit on 6/5/2012:

3:06 pm Venus touches Sun's disc.
3:24 pm Venus completely inside Sun's disc.
6:26 pm Venus in middle of transit.
8:08 pm Sunset in Santa Barbara
9:47 pm Venus leave's Sun's disc.

If looking through a telescope, look for the "ring" created by Venus' atmosphere between 3:06 pm and 3:24 pm. Also look for the "black drop" effect after 3:24 pm where the darkness of space seems to "reach out" towards Venus as she moves away from the edge of the disc.
