Change Your Mind to Change Your Body
Workshop will explore practical ways to recognize and reduce stress, and will address topics like affirmations, meditation, positive self-talk, the placebo effect, and more.

Experience how to tap into the power of the mind to change the body. We know stress is a killer in this society. Learn practical ways to recognize stress and eliminate the body’s response. Attendees also see how to talk to and about themselves and how to use positive self-talk to heal the body. Other topics include affirmations, visualization, meditation, the placebo effect, and their role in health and wellness. Class incorporates history and current research findings about the mind/body connection and how it can be used to live longer, have greater health and age slower. CEUs are available for RN/LVN, MFT/LCSW and CNAs
