Synrgy draws upon elements of roots, ska, rock, funk and hip-hop, to create a unique blend of high-energy reggae, sure to satisfy the most dance-driven audiences and roots reggae afficionados alike.
In an industry often dominated by fads and corporate interest, Synrgy has dedicated themselves to writing and performing catchy, intelligent reggae music that audiences young and old can appreciate and groove to. The band, which includes: Brian Zach (vocals, guitar), Clay Baker (lead guitar), T.J. Eilers (bass), Aaron Reed (drums), and Nacho (Keys); has carved a niche for themselves through years of relentless touring, excellent live performances, and incredible musicianship.
In 2011 Synrgy shared the stage with internationally renowned acts: Steel Pulse, The Wailers, The Abyssinians, and Pato Banton; as well as supporting New Zealand-based Katchafire for the Arizona leg of their 2011 U.S. Fall tour. If you are in need of a fun night of dancing, or are a fan of reggae in search of the next hottest band, don’t miss Synrgy in concert at Frog and Peach on February 12th. The tour includes over sixty shows in twelve states, over ten weeks. Minneapolis based reggae/dubstep trio, Jon Wayne and the Pain, will be co-billing from southern Oregon through Iowa .
