Habitat Restoration and Trail Keeping

Description:

Arroyo Hondo Preserve of the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County needs energetic and fun-loving people to help with habitat restoration and trail keeping projects.

Tools, equipment, instruction, and mid-morning snacks are provided. Please wear strong shoes or boots, bring your favorite work gloves, and wear layered clothing as temperatures change often in the canyon.

Many volunteers work for the morning, bring a picnic lunch, and then spend the afternoon exploring the fascinating trails that wind among chaparral, oak woodland, and along the beautiful Arroyo Hondo Creek.
