Basic Computer Class
Patrons new to computers will learn basic keyboarding skills, how to search the Internet using Google, and how to set up and use an email account. Must preregister.

Description:
The Santa Barbara Public Library System will offer two-hour classes for those wishing to learn the basics of using a computer. In a small group, limited to six participants each, patrons new to computers will learn basic keyboarding skills, how to search the Internet using Google, and how to set up and use an email account. Laptop computers will be provided for instruction.
Classes will be held in the Townley Room at the Central Library, 40 E. Anapamu St. The instructor is retired IT consultant Milt Hess, who has been coaching individuals in learning how to use computers in the library and at other sites.
