From the top of the Arctic Circle to the bottom tip of South America, Captain Mark Schrader has seen it all. The veteran sailor was able to witness amazing geography and sights while completing an amazing ocean voyage encircling both North and South America, as the skipper for the Around the Americas sailing expedition. Together with a crew of oceanographers, ice experts, educators and more, Schrader completed the incredible voyage in an attempt to gather scientific research about the state of the ocean and communities linked to the sea on the Ocean Watch yacht. Now, everyone can retrace Schrader’s path through the ocean by watching A 28,000 Mile Journey Around the Americas.
