The Friends of the Santa Barbara Central Library will host a wine and cheese reception on Friday, November 4 from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the lower level of the Central Library. The reception kicks off a special sale of art, photography, and other rare and valuable books to raise money for the Library. The books and other items offered for sale also include signed and first editions, fiction and nonfiction books, posters, as well as original 1930s art.
Members of the Friends of the Santa Barbara Public Central Library may attend the Friday reception for $15 entry fee, and non-members may join the group and attend for $35. The sale will be open to the public with free admission on Saturday, November 5 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Items for sale have been donated to the Library or deselected from the collection.
