We all spend a lot of time sitting. Using the computer, driving or simply watching t.v. can create tight hips. In her workshop: "A Hip Experience" Lori Robbins will show you how to combine dynamic tension across the core with rhythmic breathing. This "yogirelease" technique can allow you to experience a profound release of tension while improving strength. In a relaxed and humorous style, she shows how to integrate this method of yoga into daily life. The simple stretches in this workshop are accessible to students of all levels.
Lori currently offers yogirelease workshops in L.A. and Ventura County at yoga studios and gyms and weekly classes in Thousand Oaks. Her classes focus on using therapeutic and dynamic stretches to increase flexibility while building strength. Lori is a Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. Lori first learned yoga at Patricia Walden's Iyengar studio in Boston. She has practiced for approximately 13 years and has furthered her studies with Jill Miller, Judith Lassiter, Aadil Palkhivala and Elise Browing Miller among others.
