Satire Meets Sincerity: An Alternative Look at the Venice Biennale
With the Museum galleries transformed into biennale pavilions as a backdrop, Geoff Dyer, author of Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi, explores the significant role that art plays in literature and the pretense that is part of the art fairs and biennials now so central to the art world. Guests enjoy bellinis and jockey for A-List positioning for the best parties during the interactive game of Party, Pavilions, and Pilgrimage. Will visitors take the path to self-awareness or get caught in self-absorption? Come find out!
$50 Members / $60 Non-Members
