S.B. Kennel Club Dog Show

One of the oldest and most prestigious dog shows in the country, featuring more than 150 breeds.

When: Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Earl Warren Showgrounds, 3400 Calle Real, Santa Barbara

Admission: $8 adults, $5 children under 12 and seniors, $20 per family.

In conjunction with the SBKC Dog Show on Saturday and Sunday, the Simi Valley Kennel Club has their show on Friday, August 26th and the Conejo Kennel Club Show will take place on Monday, August 29th at the same location, making this an exciting four-day weekend.

Also happening this year: the third annual Breeder’s Showcase, the ever-popular Obedience Trials, and introducing the Earthdog Trials. These events offer a great opportunity for families to ask questions of the experts and find out which breed is right for them. Over 150 breeds will be represented over the four days. In addition, a Dog Show Tour at 10 AM both days will show attendants the ins-and-outs of the Dog Show. For more information about the SBKC please visit
