Maritime Painting
SBMM's Curator and Director of Education Emily Falke will teach how to paint on canvas with palette knife using S.B. Harbor as a subject in a series of summer classes.
When: Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, 10 a.m. to noon

Description:
Students ages 7-12 will learn to draw harbor scenes on paper, transfer that drawing onto canvas, then mix colors and them with a palette knife onto canvas. Students will leave with a completed painting. Please wear paint-friendly clothing.
Emily Falke has a BA in Art from UCLA and a teaching credential in art from Cal State University, Bakersfield.
