Santa Barbara Drum Day is returning for its 2nd year with a new location – the Chase Palm Park Pavilion. This is the beautiful grassy meadow with a stage area where the City of Santa Barbara holds its summer concerts in the park.
This 2-hour interactive drumming experience will feature Dancing Drum, Grammy-winning percussionist Luis Conte (Dancing With the Stars, Madonna, James Taylor), YOU, and many other special surprises!!
Drum Day is an all ages, all abilities, all levels of drumming experience event, and attendance is FREE.
Hundreds of drums and percussion instruments will be provided by our sponsor, REMO, but please bring your own drum to play if you have one.
We will be raising funds for music programs in New Orleans schools (Recovery School District) through raffling drums and percussion instruments.
