Santa Barbara International Dance FestivalSaturday, August 28, 2010, 11am-7pm. SBDA has been presenting the International Dance festival since 1994; our event is now free to the public, and includes dance classes, arts and crafts vendors, delicious food, and all-day performances from a huge variety of ethnic dance groups including: West African, East Indian, Hula, Middle Eastern, Flamenco, and traditional California native folk dances.

This is the first year SBDA will present the festival at Chase Palm Park, a beautiful and large format that is easily accessed by public transportation. The new location will increase our audience capacity to that of similar festivals that take place in this location. We are thrilled that this expansion makes ours one of the largest free ethnic dance festivals on the central coast; this raises exposure for our performers and provides an opportunity for regional vendors to sell their culturally diverse wares, bringing in colorful flavor that celebrates artistry from around the world.
