"In these times, when we are spending so much time at the computer or behind the wheel, we tend to acquire a forward lean that tightens the neck and shoulder muscles, as well as impacting your back, hips and legs.

In this workshop you will learn simple stretches that will awaken you to asymmetries in your upper body. We will explore the tight areas and work to free them up. With this self-knowledge, you may be able to avoid or minimize back, hip and leg pain in the future.

In a humorous and relaxed style, Lori will teach you how to access these stretches throughout your day to ease tension and create calm and increase alignment."

Lori graduated from teacher training at True Yoga in Thousand Oaks, Ca., and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. She currently offers workshops at local yoga studios and gyms and weekly classes in Thousand Oaks. Her classes focus on using therapeutic and dynamic stretches to increase flexibility while building strength. Lori first learned yoga at Patricia Walden's Iyengar studio in Boston. She has practiced for approximately 13 years and has furthered her studies with Judith Lassiter, Aadil Palkhivala and Elise Browing Miller among others.
