Description: Here is a little back around information, every September Chili’s holds a month long fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, during which guests of the restaurant donate money to the hospital and color a chili pepper to be hung around the restaurant. The Chili’s corporation looks to all of its employees to help facilitate these donations, as well as come up with new and exciting ideas to raise money. This is where I play a small role in the matter; Four years ago the idea was born of having a benefit concert to raise money for the hospital, I have a great appreciation for music, and thought if I could combine two of my passions (music and giving to the less fortunate) I might be able to help. This will be the fourth year for the concert and it promises to be the biggest yet, both in terms of exposure for the hospital and money raised. The Fourth Annual St. Jude Benefit Concert will be on September 17th at The Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara. The entertainment for the night will will be music by Natural Incense, Boombox Orchestra, Wrong Again and Starving Millionaries.
