Where: Schott Ctr., 310 W. Padre St., Santa Barbara

Rock and Folk music of the late 60s and early 70s was a reflection of the rise in the consciousness movement. Interest in mystical and eastern philosophies, soul searching, holistic living, peace and social justice were reflected in the popular music of the day. Discover how self-understanding can occur through our interactions with music. We'll share our experiences of the music of artists including the Beatles, Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and others. You are invited to bring instruments to the last class to share music from this era.
