Fahrenheit 451: Staged Reading

Meredith McMinn directs a reading of the play version of Ray Bradbury's classic at a special after-hours literary event in the library's rarely seen Fireplace Room.

Description:

Meredith McMinn directs a reading of the play version of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. This one-time performance will be held in the Fireplace Room of the Central Library after the Library has closed for the evening -- an eerily appropriate space for this particular dramatic reading. Free and open to the public, light refreshments following. This is an event of the Santa Barbara Reads program, supported by a Big Read grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
