The Santa Barbara Master Chorale will present Mendelssohn's greatest choral work, the oratorio "Elijah," in celebration of Mendelssohn's 200th birthday. Singing the role of Elijah will be Cantor Mark Childs of Congregation B'nai B'rith. Chorale and soloists will be joined by a full orchestra. It is a powerful, dramatic musical work - a wonderful way to spend an evening.
