The Junior League of Santa Barbara (JLSB) is hosting its second annual Literacy Gala, Saturday March 7th, at the Santa Barbara Central Public Library. "Once Upon a Library Night: A Child's Dream:" benefits the JLSB and its efforts to improve youth literacy in our community. JLSB is partnering with the Library and the City of Santa Barbara to renovate the children's area of the Central Library. The 2nd annual Literacy Gala features a tour of the area that will be the future children's floor of the Central Public Library.
The event will also celebrate the Junior League's Volunteer Woman of the Year honoree, Meredith Scott, Board President of CALM and recognize her dedication and service to philanthropy in our community.
