Dave Stringer, an accomplished composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer, has a special gift for bringing people together in ecstatic chant, call and response mantra singing. Punctuating the traditional mantras with flights of improvisation, he chants with luminous intensity and a freedom that is contagious. Dave Stringer's sound marries the transcendent mysticism of traditional Indian instruments with the exuberant, groove-oriented sound of American gospel.
