UCSB is featuring a week long of workshops that will explore mayan science and culture. Choose from writing your hieroglyphic name on a ceramic pot you will make, mayan astronomy, calendrics and mathematics, a computer science animal tlatoque workshop and more! We will have a kick off event " HOLLYWOOD, HTML, AND THE IVORY TOWER: THE CONTEMPORARY BATTLE TO REPRESENT THE ANCIENT MAYA" this Sunday the 12th at 4pm at UCSB's HSSB 6012. Workshops will run Monday the 13th- Friday the 17th 9am-1pm.
