Participate in a dialogue about today's modern man and woman and what Gandhi might think about equality and gender roles with Dr. Carolyn Dorrance, professor of women's history, and life-long Gandhian activitist Shashi Tyagi, co-founder of GRAVIS, a non-profit organization based on Gandhian principles working towards rural development in India. GRAVIS aids in women empowerment by encouraging women to create their own income, attend school, become educated about healthcare, and take leadership roles in village life.
