A hands-on, intergenerational Gandhian Retreat will be held January 11-17.

The purpose of the retreat is to experiment with Gandhi's lifestyle for a week of communal living, contemplation, and energetic service work. The retreat will be led by a Gandhian social worker from India, co-founder of Gravis organization, who has spent over 20 years working with villages in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan in all facets of development including village councils, women's rights, and food and water sustainable practices.

This unique retreat will also feature reflections from Gandhi's writings on nonviolence, sustainability, and truth.
