The Santa Barbara Central Library is having a blowout book sale April 11-19 to celebrate National Library Week. Many books, DVDs and other materials are donated to the library throughout the year. Volunteers manage an ongoing book sale corner, but the large inventory has outgrown its space. In order to make room for new donations and to generate revenue for the library, prices will be dropped during National Library Week to fifty cents for paperbacks, $1.50 for hardcovers, $1 for DVDs, and fifty cents for music CDs.
