Arroyo Hondo Preserve Docent Tour

Explore the Arroyo Hondo Preserve of the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County with a knowledgeable guide.

When: Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, 10 a.m. to noon

Where: Arroyo Hondo Preserve, Gaviota Coast, 4.5 miles past Refugio State Beach, Santa Barbara

Cost: Free

Age limit: All ages

Categories: Outdoor

Description: Visit the historic adobe, visitors center and discovery center. Hike the streamside trails to a spectacular ocean and canyon vista point. Look for steelhead trout and other native animals and plants. After the tour enjoy your picnic under the sycamores creekside.
Tours offered the first Saturday and third Sunday of each month.
