Description: Musical documentary can either be tedious or enchanting. This tuneful, incisive cinematic portrayal of legendary singer Tony Bennett by director Bruce Ricker caps a yearlong celebration of the performer’s 80th birthday and 60 years in show business, and is beyond enchanting. Viewers will be humming his tunes for days after this screening. The film is full of Bennett performing standards by such composers as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and George Gershwin. Clint Eastwood produced and conducted interviews for, The Music Never Ends. Intimate interviews, archival footage, and many memorable songs and duets, including his signature trademark, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, make this profile of Tony Bennett a truly uplifting and memorable film experience.
