Help your neighbors build better opportunities! The Santa Barbara Public Library System's Adult Literacy Program seeks volunteers to work as one-to-one tutors at all branch libraries. Volunteer tutors meet once or twice a week to help adult learners reach their personal goals, such as getting a better job, mastering difficult skills, or helping their children. The library provides free materials, training, and support.
