Get ready for a party! Tab Benoit, an artist at the pinnacle of his power, brings his red-hot Louisiana blues band to his first-ever S.B. appearance. Benoit is on top of the blues world. The Blues Foundation, the largest blues organization in the world, awarded him its coveted Blues Music Award in 2006 for Best Album of the Year: Fever for the Bayou. In 2007 Benoit won BMAs as B.B. King Entertainer of the Year and Contemporary Male Blues Performer of the Year; this year he repeated as Blues Performer of the Year. Benoit's legendary live shows spotlight his powerful vocals and dazzling guitar prowess. Mixing Cajun gumbo with Deep South rural blues flavoring, Benoit has been mesmerizing audiences from coast to coast. The show will feature free Cajun food treats and a large dance floor, and promises to be a highlight of the S.B. musical year.
